An innovative way of creating public spaces is for private nonprofits and organizations to help fund and provide leadership support to parks while they remain public. Indigo Creative worked with a private nonprofit in Winchester, Kentucky, to help create the logo and branding for a park that they opened in 2021. Read more

About the principal, Melissa Mahoney
Design and branding is Melissa Mahoney’s passion. After earning a BFA in graphic design and fine art from the University of Georgia, Melissa went on to study calligraphy and hand lettering in Cortona, Italy. She worked for a design agency in Atlanta a few years following school, and then moved to the Bay Area , California, where she founded Indigo Creative.
In addition to design and branding, Melissa is an abstract painter. She utilizes large Chinese, Japanese and hand-made calligraphy brushes to create large scale, abstract paintings.
